This month we are celebrating fabulous.
I know, I know it is a broad remit, but we find energy in the cooler weather and the promise of fabulous new things ahead.
If you aren't already following these fabulous Instagram accounts, get amongst it now.
WOODLUCKER
@WOODLUCKER
Ann Wood makes the incredible handmade botanical art - from paper! You would swear she just takes photos of the real item, but no, these are handcrafted from paper. My favourites are her apples, her geraniums and her ahhh-mazing studio space.
TINA BERNING
@TINA_BERNING
Tina Berning is a Berlin-based artist, and her work is brilliant. She captures the soul of people, and I love her sketches and painting on so many different types of paper. She inspires me every day with her beautiful eye.
ACCIDENTALLY WES ANDERSON
@ACCIDENTALLYWESANDERSON
This is a fabulously curated account of structures and places that look like they belong in a Wes Anderson film. The colour palette and the whimsy make it just so. The curator (Wally) and his fiance have built a fabulous community. I go here to see beautiful images of beautiful places and to hear the story behind them.
ALI MCNABEY-STEVENS
@ALIMCNABNEYSTEVENS
Ali is hands-down my favourite artist at the moment. British-born, but now living in Melbourne she works on a large scale with the most fabulous colour palette and expressionist line. Every time I see one of her paintings I connect with both the treatment and the distillation of an idea.
Let me know who else I should be following!
